NYEC Announces Annual Forum Committee Co-Chairs

We are excited to introduce the Co-Chairs for the upcoming 2024 NYEC Annual Forum- Together Toward Tomorrow: Pursuing Youth Prosperity. NYEC would like to graciously highlight, Christopher Cooper, MPA, Program Officer at Sierra Health Foundation and The Center, and S. Michele Jacobs, Associate Vice President at United Way of Greater Atlanta.

Chris is managing the California Funders for Boys and Men of Color, a statewide funder network bringing together the state’s leading philanthropic CEOs and leaders to shape a better future for boys and men of color and for California. Chris is organizing investments to build power and pathways to economic freedom, through social employment enterprise, transformative justice, educational equity, and quality careers that will result in youth positioned to reach 300% of the federal poverty level rate. Michele leads the College and Career Ready investment portfolio which connects youth and young adults to education and employment pathways. She has led community engagement initiatives, built the capacity of partner agencies, and aligned strategic partnerships and investments to improve outcomes for young people.

Our committee will work to ensure the 2024 NYEC Annual Forum is a dynamic and impactful conference by harnessing the power of national and local partners, ensuring a robust set of keynote speakers, and assisting with the collective mission to ensure equitable employment pathways for opportunity youth. Their vision and leadership will be instrumental in this conference. Thank you, Michele and Chris! Learn more about the forum at HERE.
