This series will feature young leaders and advocates who are starting their own businesses, leading
advocacy efforts, and positively impacting their communities.

July 27th: Hope for Health & Hygiene | Aliyah Saleem
To kick off the series, we will hear from Aliyah Saleem, who began her own non-profit, Hope for Health &
Hygiene. Aliyah has worked arduously to support underserved communities by providing free, hygienic
personal care products to support the physical and mental health of disadvantaged communities. Her
passion extends through our nation and even reaches overseas to the country of Liberia in West Africa.
Join us to learn how this young leader has pursued her dreams of changing the world.

Join us for Part 1 of this series on the space industry. NYEC’s very own Jaime Jimenez will share his
research on building pathways from trade schools to the space industry. Jaime’s goal is to provide the
information and inspiration young people and practitioners need to make the dream of working in space a
reality.
